Objective
The workshop has two main focuses. First, it aims at reviewing recent developments in the construction of neutron detectors for energies ranging from keV to GeV. This includes the improved understanding of basic processes in materials used for neutron detection as well as techniques and data relevant to design neutron detectors. The second focus will be a discussion on applications of fast neutron detectors in various fields of science and technology. In addition, methods and facilities for the production of fast neutrons will be discussed. The workshop is also to provide a forum for the exchange of information among the various communities that employ fast neutrons to perform their respective tasks.
